Monthly RailKing 2019 Volume 1 O Gauge Catalog Product Spotlight

February 27, 2019 - Each month throughout the year, M.T.H. will be spotlighting various items from our RailKing 2019 Volume 1 O Gauge Catalog.  This week's feature will focus on the RailKing Santa Fe Northern Steam Locomotive and steam locomotive passenger sets in Chessie, Reading and American Freedom liveries; the EMD SW-9 Diesel; the Alco AS-616 Diesel; and select RailKing rolling stock including the Standard Tank Car; Husky Stack with ETD; and the Flat Car with Airplanes. Each of these items is currently slated to begin delivering in April 2019.

Santa Fe Northern Steam Locomotive - The heaviest straight passenger locomotive ever produced, the famous Santa Fe 4-8-4 Northerns epitomized steam power. The steeply graded western lines of the Santa Fe required a locomotive with enormous power, and the Northern was the answer.  continue reading

Chessie Northern Passenger Set - The first Northerns were delivered from Baldwin in 1927. M.T.H. Electric Trains will be be exhibiting at multiple events over the next two weekends, first at the Rocky Mountain Train Show in Denver, Colorado this weekend and then at the Greenburg Train Show next weekend in Edison, New Jersey.
