March 20, 2018 - Each month throughout the year, M.T.H. will be spotlighting various items from our 2018 O Gauge Volume 1 catalog.  This month's feature will focus on the Premier O Scale F-3 Diesel in Denver Rio Grande, Chicago Great Western, Chesapeake & Ohio, and Grand Trunk liveries, and select Premier Freight Cars including the O Scale Extended Vision Caboose,, Reefer Car, and 60' Flat Car with (3) Tank Containers.  Each of these items is currently slated to begin delivering in May 2018.

The book includes: capabilities and use of the Premium version of the DCS App; implementation of DCS WiFi on new or existing layouts via standalone or home network access; setup, installation, operation, and software updating of the Wireless Interface Unit (WIU); expanded coverage of troubleshooting and DCS Application operation; and much more.

Pre-Order For Delivery At The April TCA York Meet

A limited run, softcover printing of the DCS WiFi Companion - 2nd Edition will be offered for sale at the TCA York Meet in York, Pennsylvania on April 19 - 21, 2018. The book will be for sale in the M.T.H. Booth in the Orange Hall for $34.95 on a pre-order basis only. Orders for the book are due no later than April 9, 2018 so that the printer can guarantee delivery of the books at the York Meet. These books must be picked up at the show and will not be shipped to customers ordering them. Orders for the 2nd Edition printed version of the DCS WiFi Companion can be placed by contacting M.T.H. The book features new sections devoted to installation and operation of M.T.H.'s new DCS Explorer, and the addition of Lionel® Legacy, and TMCC LCS components to seamlessly operate those command control locomotives on the same tracks at the same time as M.T.H. Proto-Sound 2.0 and 3.0 locomotives.

Reviewed by Jim Barrett in O Gauge Railroading's January 2010 issue, Barry's first book, The DCS Companion, was hailed as an "indispensable tool" that "should be in the hands of every command control operator".
