Uncataloged RailKing RSME O Gauge Box Car Announced

A few miles East of Reading, Pennsylvania is a group of model railroaders known as the Reading Society of Model Engineers. Their 25-acre property, located in Berks county Alsace township, has 15", 7-1/4" and 4-3/4" gauge outdoor live steam railroads. An additional 40' x 80' facility houses 0 gauge 2 rail, 3 rail 0n 3 and HO trains.

The RSME was chartered in 1949 and in 2019 is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a boxcar adorned with a paint scheme designed by members of the society and manufactured by M.T.H. Electric Trains.

The RailKing O Gauge box car is adorned with the phrase "Fast Freight" which refers to the quick delivery of goods that was performed by the Reading Railroad.
